Recurring Transactions

Set up transactions that happen on a regular basis and Budgetwise creates them on schedule.

Set up a recurring transaction

  1. Go to an Account
  2. Click Add Transaction
  3. Fill in the details (payee, amount, category)
  4. Toggle Recurring
  5. Set the frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly)
  6. Set the start date
  7. Save

Manage schedules

View all your recurring transactions in one place:

  1. Go to the Budget page
  2. Upcoming scheduled transactions appear in the sidebar

From here you can edit, pause, or delete any schedule.

Tips

  • Set up income first. Your paycheck schedule helps you plan when to assign money.
  • Include all fixed expenses. Rent, utilities, insurance, subscriptions.
  • Review monthly. Cancel subscriptions you’re not using.
